- Get emergency alerts – find the apps on your phone app, download and register:
- The Community Warning System (CWS) Office of the Sheriff, Contra Costa County (delivers EVACUATION alerts via cellular and landlines; not an app)
- Nixle app local alerts (free; you can sign up for multiple locations through website)
- Genasys Protect app AND website (easier to see map); map-based alert system—enter your address, and find out your Evacuation Zone
- Watch Duty app on your cell; for alerts and wildfire maps and reports of fire starts
- Sign up to participate in the May 30, 2026, Richmond/El Sobrante Valley evacuation drill.
